First Time on Roller Skates
IncludedStand, fall safely, move forward and stop with confidence.
The Complete Library · All 6 courses
All six courses in one: from your first time on skates to backward skating, smooth transitions, stops you can trust and a whole family of stylish moves. Learn at your own pace, one step after the other.
Why beginners give up
Nobody showed you how to fall safely, so every wobble feels like the one that hurts. You stiffen up, and stiff skaters fall more.
Free videos teach tricks. Without the foundation underneath, they don't work — and you start thinking it's you.
You can roll forward, sort of. Then what? Without a path, practice turns into going in circles in the same parking lot.
The Sundown method
Each course builds on the one before. With the Complete Library you have the whole path: the foundation in courses 1 to 3 and the next level in courses 4 to 6.
1Stand, fall safely, roll forward, stop.
2Backward skating, backward stops, first transitions.
3Moonwalk, backward stops, one-foot bubbles, first crossovers.
4Open the Book, Step Transition, 180 Jump, Pivot.
5Plow, T-Stop, Toe Stop Drag, Spin to Stop and more.
6Spread Eagle, Heel Flare, Disco Spin, Barrel Roll.
Inside the Library
The slow, clear start most beginners never get. Stand up, find your balance, learn to fall safely in every direction and take your first real glide.
Ready to go beyond forward-only? Learn your first backward techniques and the two transitions that connect forward and backward skating.
Stop just getting by when you skate backward. Build several backward techniques and variations you can actually rely on.
Turn separate skills into one smooth flow. Four essential ways to switch between skating forward and backward.
Stop safely at any speed and in any situation. Six stopping techniques, and when to use which one.
One skill you already know unlocks a whole family of stylish, dance-inspired moves.

Your teacher
I've spent four years teaching roller skating and built Switzerland's first roller skate school. Hundreds of beginners later, I know exactly where people get stuck — and which parts everybody skips.
These courses follow the same order I teach in person. Basics first, every move broken down, so you understand what you're doing on skates.

No. The courses are built as a ladder: you start with Course 1 and only move on when you're ready. With the Library, the next step is already there when you get to it.
We recommend it, because every course builds on the one before. If you can already skate forward and backward with control, you can jump straight to Course 4.

Any quad skates with toe stops work. Knee pads, wrist guards and a helmet are strongly recommended, especially in the beginning.
